چکیده

Coffea arabica, a member of the Rubiaceae family, is most commercially important species genus Coffea. It has been grown on mountain terraces southwestern Saudi Arabia for centuries. At present, subject to increased genetic erosion due abandonment many gardens by their owners and increasingly dry climate. The current study was carried out determine diversity 56 local coffee accessions collected from southern regions using 30 sequence-related amplified polymorphism (SRAP) markers. Six SRAP markers showed among accessions. A total 1125 bands, with an average 187.5, produced all six primers. polymorphic information content (PIC) ranged 74.8 97.7, 91.4 studied high percentage seen in this study, along number alleles PIC values primers used, demonstrate that approach effective molecular technique assessing populations. structural analysis sharp peak, no ambiguity, demonstrating highest delta K value at = 3 6, could be grouped into three main populations, respectively. Assessment of Genetic Diversity in Some Iranian Populations of Bunium persicum Using RAPD and AFLP Markers

The genetic diversity of 20 Iranian populations of Bunium persicum has been evaluated with random amplified polymorphic DNA (RAPD) and amplified fragment length polymorphism (AFLP) markers. Fresh leaves of seedlings from each population were used for genomic DNA extraction. Analysis of banding patterns of 15 RAPD primers and 17 AFLP primer combinations, revealed 192 (86%) and 228 (75%) polymorp...

Genetic diversity assessment of Vitis ficifolia Bge. populations from Henan province of China by SRAP markers

Eighteen sequence-related amplified polymorphism (SRAP) primer combinations were used to assess the genetic diversity of 126 individuals from five different geographical populations of Vitis ficifolia Bge. The numbers of bands scored per primer combination ranged from 8 to 27, with an average of 18.6 bands. At the population level, the percentage of polymorphic bands (PPB), Nei's gene diversity...

Genetic diversity of the Arctic fox using SRAP markers.

Sequence-related amplified polymorphism (SRAP) is a recently developed molecular marker technique that is stable, simple, reliable, and achieves moderate to high numbers of codominant markers. This study is the first to apply SRAP markers in a mammal, namely the Arctic fox. In order to investigate the genetic diversity of the Arctic fox and to provide a reference for use of its germplasm, we an...
